About the course:
Aromatherapy is the specialist application of essential oils which is used in a variety of contexts including uplift, relaxation, stress relief and remedial not subject to medical prohibition and connected to palliative care. The critical aspects of this qualification are the decision making concerned with the safe blending of essential oils and their appropriateness in use based upon client assessment. The qualification is suitable as the first level of practical aromatherapy. It is suitable for use in either private practice, or establishments where aromatherapy treatments are provided.

Progression:
Successful completion of the Diploma in Aromatherapy provides opportunity for progression to the VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Additional Aromatherapy Techniques and qualifications otherwise meeting the requirements for aromatherapy as specified in NOS from Skills for Health, or to employment in either private practice, or establishments where aromatherapy treatments are provided.
