About this course
We regularly provide private assertiveness skills training courses.
Private training provides extra privacy whether the training is for an individual or a team.
It means that you can speak to our trainers completely confidentially, and work on the root cause of your issues.
People in leadership positions often find this very useful. The privacy of a closed session often helps them to open up and really dig into their individual issues around assertiveness and confidence. Once these are out in the open it is possible to deal with them and very quickly effect long-lasting change at a fundamental level.
By having a private workshop it also allows us to:
Run the training at your site if that is more convenient for you.
Customise the assertiveness course to your exact needs and skills.
Run the training on a day that is most convenient for you.
This course is for anyone wishing to increase their assertiveness skills, there are no pre-requisites.
Assertive behaviour is useful in all parts of life, not just at work, and many people find it helpful in general day-to-day life as well.
If any of the below apply to you it is likely that you would find this training course very helpful:
You would like to improve your communication style so that when you present your opinion you feel that others truly hear what you are saying and respect it.
You find delegating difficult and think you would benefit from improving your self-esteem.
You have recently received a promotion and are suffering from ‘imposter syndrome’
In order to make the most of the workshop, it is very useful if prior to the course you can keep a diary for a few days detailing areas where you think that you would have benefited from being more assertive and any techniques that you did try.
