Course programme
This programme is for you if you are already working on the project management industry and now wish to gain the recognised APMP professional qualification. The APMP Qualification is an intensive five-day foundation professional qualification awarded by the Association for Project Management (APM). It provides one of the very few internationally recognised qualifications in Project Management that are easily accessible. It tests knowledge of the basic principles as enshrined in the APM's Body of Knowledge (BoK). The first 4 days interactively develop the relevant topics from the syllabus and conclude with typical exam questions. You will be encouraged to improve your understanding during the evenings. The first part of day 5 is given to revising any areas where you may require further clarity. This is followed by the exam which is a 3 hour paper requiring answers to 10 questions from a choice of 16. Results are usually available within 4-6 weeks of the exam. Although the APMP Qualification is available to all, it is recommended that you should have been working in a project environment for some time and be familiar with the techniques and language involved. The course uses a proven discursive technique along with practical exercises where appropriate. You will also receive a copy of APM's book - Project Management Pathways (subject to availability).
