Course programme
This course had been specifically developed as an add-on to our Aviation courses, specifically Cabin Crew.
The course has been designed to cover the main criteria that will be covered in any Airline training programme as follows:
1) Introduction to First Aid
2) Basic Life Support using the recognised standard ABC approach
3) The theory of CPR
4) CPR demonstration using a manikin (Resus Annie)
5) Skill stations for students to practice their new learnt CPR techniques
6) Introduction to other common Onboard Medical Emergencies and the treatment that cabin crew deal with on a daily basis including:;
A) Strokes
B) Epilepsy
C) Diabetes
D) Head injuries
E) Heart attack
F) Burns and scalds
G) Faints
H) Miscarriage
This course is delivered by a qualified First Aid Instructor and Cabin Crew Manager with a mix of training delivery, group discussion and practical work ensuring that you get the most of the programme. Combined with certification on successful completion, you will definitely be on the right track to getting yourself noticed and securing your ideal job in the Aviation Industry.
Course Start Dates:
These courses are operated three times a year, January, May & September.
The course is one day and will commence at 09.30 until 15.30.
Resource Requirements: Notepad and pen etc.
