Course summary
Overview
If you want to work in the events sector – either working for a company or starting your own business – this course will teach you how to organise events with a particular focus on the hospitality provision.
We take advantage of our London location, giving you the opportunity to attend high-profile events and a variety of venues to gain exposure to the industry in action. As well as live event projects, you’ll learn through practical teaching such as case studies and team projects, to understand the fundamentals of event management.
Career and study progression
With a core understanding of the intricacies of event management combined with the hospitality industry, and exposure to an array of events across London, you will gain transferable skills for a range of careers in international or UK events management.
You may also wish to undertake postgraduate study to specialise in a subject you’ve already studied, or to explore something new.

Entry requirements
You will need:
260 UCAS points normally in a minimum of two subject areas
plus GCSE English and Maths at grade A*- C, or equivalent.
International students
International students need to meet our English language requirement at either IELTS at 6.0 or above and a minimum of 5.5 for each of the 4 individual components (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening).
