Course Description
This course is designed to provide advanced techniques associated with Barbering skills at a high level of competency.

Entry Requirements
Level 3 Work-based Advanced Apprenticeship learners will have to undertake a period of initial assessment, including a vocational aptitude test, and achieve between 50% and 70% in both Literacy and Numeracy Level 2 diagnostic tests.

Modules Studied:

• Promoting products and services to clients
• Cutting techniques, providing a variety of looks
• Indian Head massage treatments
• Shaving services and facial massage
• Colouring hair using a variety of techniques
• The course will also require you to plan and promote professional salon events

Attendance Modes: Day

Assessment: Through a variety of practical, oral and written assessments in the form of projects, assignments, tests and portfolio evidence. Key Skills tests and ongoing assessment.

Progression Routes: Self Employed Barber, Men's Hair Stylist, Artistic Director, Product Demonstrator, Sales Representative.
