Summary
This course consists of 3 units of a Level 2 qualification providing you with the knowledge and skills required to offer a barbering service.
About the Course
This course will cover all the necessary aspects of Barbering at Level 2.
You will cover the relevant Health & Safety requirements as well as developing an understanding of what is necessary to provide a Barbering service.
You will study techniques used to cut mens hair including clipper work. You will also learn how to dry and style mens hair, techniques covering cutting and trimming facial hair to shape will also be studied.
Course Aims
To obtain a Level 2 Barbering qualification. This will enable students to work in a Barber shop and improve their hairdressing skills.
What are the entry requirements?
How is the course assessed?
You will be practically assessed and produce a portfolio of evidence. There is also a written examination for each unit.
Are there any resources to obtain?
Students will need to wear black tunic (order forms available from College) black trousers or skirt with flat, low-heeled fully enclosed shoes.
