Candidates will be able to recognise and understand the signs and symptoms and be able to confidently assist in the collection of information from the casualty to enable them to perform First Aid until professional help arrives. Suitable for: Those who either have little or no experience in First Aid or those who have previously completed the four day First Aid course but need refreshing.

Introduction
Throughout the course candidates are encouraged to be interactive with other candidates. This can give candidates a broader knowledge of different types of emergency situations and how to be confident in being a First Aider.
Candidates are assessed throughout the course and take part in practical hands on exercises.
Candidates will complete training on contents as set out below.
