The European Computer Driving Licence (or ECDL) BCS level 2 - ECDL Extra is a European-wide qualification that enables people to demonstrate their competence in computer skills. Assessment:
There is a test at the end of each Unit that leads to gaining the qualification.

On successful completion of this course it will lead to ECDL Advanced. Students completing both BCS level 1 and BCS level 2 will be awarded a full ECDL qualification!

This unit requires the candidate to demonstrate the ability to use a wordprocessing application on computer.
Unit B - Spreadsheets
This unit requires the candidate to understand the basic concepts of spreadsheets and to demonstrate the ability to use a spreadsheet application on a personal computer.
Unit C - Databases
This unit requires the candidate to understand the basic concepts of database and demonstrate the ability to use a database on a personal computer.
Unit D - Presentation
Presentation requires the candidate to demonstrate competence in using presentation tools on personal computer.
Unit E - Using IT
This model requires the candidate to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of a series of theoretical elements such as legal issues associated with computing, health and safety and good practice.
