Bio-Business and Medical Sciences

Structure and Content

You can design your own MSc by choosing from our menu of Masters level courses. Bio-Business is built into every programme but in addition you can choose courses from Molecular Pharmacology, Small Molecule Drug Discovery, Therapeutics, Statistics, Genetics and Microbiology to Public Health.

Students will be able to select other topics from a menu of courses with the help of an adviser to make up the 180 credits needed for the MSc degree of Bio-Business with Medical Sciences. Topics include small molecule drug discovery, biologic drug discovery, molecular pharmacology, basic genetics, basic immunology and microbiology.

Method of Delivery

Lectures, tutorials, seminars, presentations and practical work.

Assessment

Essays, commercially focused presentations, business planning and bio-entrepreneurship, public communication of science.
