IED offers 170 Scholarships for Undergraduate courses in Italy

IED – IstitutoEuropeo di Design fosters talent like you offering 170 scholarships covering the total amount or part of the tuition fees.

Scholarships are for Undergraduate Courses 2021/2022 in Fashion, Design, Visual Arts, Communication, Management and Restoration held in Milan, Cagliari, Florence, Rome, Turin, Venice and in Accademia di Belle Arti Aldo Galli Como.

IED is an international education network with a 100% Italian DNA that, since 1966, has been training and researching in the disciplines of Design, Fashion, Visual Arts, Communication and Management of the creative industry.

To apply, students are asked to develop a project on the topic of Distance, following the given briefing.

 Main Topic and Briefing

The last months of our lives as individuals have been marked by the awareness of the value of distance.

The social distance; the geographical distance of our work and our relationships; the planet made small by the increasinglyeasy and suddenly interrupted movements; the planet made very small by the need to stay at home; the distance betweenfamilies, groups and individuals because of their economic status; the proxemics in different cultures (Italians no longershake hands, in the East no one ever shakes hands); the distance that increases between those whoproduce and those whoconsume (food, sales, etc.); the distance finally zeroed with the family with whom one lives; the distancerecovered withnature; the reduced distance that animals and flowers have shown towards the built and inhabited world.

The distance between European countries.The distance with the great problems of our lives that have become small.
