Course programme

The techniques and theory of Blues Harmonica from authentic Chicago blues to Blues harp in other styles of music such as country.

You will be taught in an immersive way with the tutor often playing a live backing track for students to play along with. Instrumentalists are welcome to bring in their instruments to these sessions, and there will be a drum kit, piano and amp provided. Students are asked to provide a major diatonic harmonica in the key of C. These cost in the region of £20-£35. The tutor recommends the Lee Oskar brand by Tombo ( approx. £25) from music shops and online.
