Brazilian Waxing

Course Content & Information:

Brazilian waxing is a treatment that is usually offered by therapist already offering warm/cool waxing as an add-on service to their current services.

The training is carried out using Hot wax. This course will cover the usage and practice of hot wax as the morning session and Brazilian as the afternoon session however students who can prove that they have completed the hot wax prior to the Brazilian course students shall be able to sit just the afternoon session.

We regret to state that Salma’s Beauty Academy currently does not currently offer an NVQ alternative for this course

• Client consultation
• Skin disease and disorders
• Demonstration and practical training
• Use of hot wax
• Different types of intimate waxing
• Contra-indication and Contra-actions
• Full aftercare advice
• Health and Safety

Do I Need A Model:

It is strongly recommended that students arrange models to practise the practical aspects of the course for 3pm if this is a problem students may have to work on each other.

What Qualification Will I Receive:

Upon successful completion of the course students will be issued with a certificate nationally recognised and insurable by BABTAC (British Association of Beauty & Cosmetology) & The GUILD Of Professional Beauty Therapists.

What Course Can I Progress Onto Next:

Upon successful completion of this course students may wish to progress further into Hot Waxing, Electrolysis and other advanced depilation courses. Hot waxing as a NVQ course is incorporated into the NVQ Level 2 waxing course.
