What I would highlight:
The staff are friendly. Once you sign up you have access to the online system to work through the qualification. This is made up of small PowerPoint like presentations and downloadable documents. There are then tasks to complete and send to your mentor. You have a mentor available who contacts you to introduce themselves and then you can contact them if you need help.
I found the online presentations and downloadables to have several spelling errors which Bright need to address as it appears unprofessional for a training provider to be this imprecise. The guidance for the tasks could be improved as you receive feedback to tell you what has been missed but the task guidance does not give this information initially which would save time. However, by the time you have completed the award with them I believe you are very prepared as an Assessor and they do train you properly and ensure you are competent before passing you. One gripe I have is that they advertise that they can provide the 2 local candidates needed to qualify. Perhaps it was my fault for assuming but I expected to have 2 local candidates in my sector. But what I actually got were 2 Bright Customer Service learners to assess remotely via Skype. This isn't my sector and they aren't local!. What I will say though is there were no shortcuts with the practical assessments and it all had to be done properly so I am prepared for working as an Assessor. I am yet to secure a job and I know several others are having similar problems because employers want you to be experienced.

What I would highlight:
I have always worked in the health and social sector I was working as residential home care/manager. I was made redundanct just under a year ago, I was stuck in a rut and needed something to work towards and something to get my confidence back. I saw the ad for the Assessor's Award and was unsure as I thought I would need NVQ's in health and social to become an assessor but you dont. I gained my Assessor's Award with Bright approx 8 months ago, I thoroughly enjoyed the course, the mentors were fantastic, they were so supportive. Bright helped me with my CV and informed me of job opportunities and after a few weeks of completing the course I got a job as a freelance health and social care assessor. I have been loving it as it has been such a great career step for me. I am now carrying out my Internal Verifier's Award and im learning how to manage assessors, verify work etc. Once i gain my IV Award I can then go on to Verify Assessor's work. As im working as freelance I can actually do both assessing and IV so its opened so many doors and is so flexible, I have 2 yound children so this is the perfect job for me as I can work it around my needs as well as my candidates. I think Bright are fantastic, they always so helpful and friendly. I received 10% off my IV Award as Im an existing customer. I would highly recommend Bright, this has been such a postive influence on my life im just so glad I did it.

What I would highlight:
I am currently studying for my DTLLS Award through Bright Assessing. I have found my mentor to be so helpful and friendly, I am working full time in a teaching role so my mentor comes into my workplace to observe and assess, which is really convenient. I feel so supported and at ease. I carried out my PTLLS with another company and had such a terrible experience I was very aprehensive about doing my DTLLS. Im so glad I did as I am thoroughly enjoying the course, the moodle is so user friendly and my mentor really is fantastic. I am offered all of the support I need and the guys at bright are always so helpful and friendly. Its really easy to fit this in with working full time. I am due to finish in a couple of months and them aftercare team are already sending me job opportunites my way and helping me with my CV. High reccomended.

Brights training is superior to any other training provider i have experienced. They really gave me the knowledge and materials i needed to successfully pass the course. They have also given me the confidence in my teaching ability to enable to gain promotion in my job - thank you Bright!

What I would highlight:
Bright are helpful, understanding and always at the end of the phone when you need them. The course materials are all online and are really clear and easy to follow. Everything i needed to do the course was there which mean less time chasing things and waiting on resources which i have experienced when using other providers! Definately recommend.

What I would highlight:
I have recently completed my Ptlls with Bright and am now going on to do Dtlls. I have really enjoyed doing the course and feel Bright have supported me all the way and give me the confidence to go on to do my Dtlls course. I would definately recommend Bright to anyone they offer a much more personal service than a lot of other colleges/providers, they take the time to get to know you and always know where you are on the course! What I would highlight:
I really enjoyed this course, I liked the way i could do everything online, it was all there for me to work through as quickly or slowly as i liked and i was able to fit it around my job. My mentor really new her stuff and was able to advise me where necessary. The qualification will be really useful for my job teaching in a 6th form school.

What I would highlight:
The tutor I was allocated was extremelly helpful and knowledgable.
The course was online so I could complete it at my own pace and could ask for help when i needed it from peers on the forum and my mentor. The office staff were also helpful. I really loved the practicals and managing the assessors. The content was really good as well.

What I would highlight:
Bright give an excellent service and the quality of their course delivery and mentors is outstanding.
I have worked in further education for over 20 years and I have to say that this provider is not only fgirst class in their course conent and knowledge of the sector but also in their customer service.
