George Levantis
Art & Design Theory/Life Drawing teacher
After leaving the Slade School of Fine Art, University College London, Levantis accepted an Artist Placement Group residency with Ocean Fleets of Liverpool, taking him to Japan, Africa and South East Asia. The work produced constructions, made from canvas, paint, bamboo etc. – materials acquired in different ports. These were documented in a publication, Pieces of Sea Fall through the Stars. “These themes have surfaced again and the work I am presently engaged in features narratives that are once more related to sea, salt, wind and birds.” http://georgelevantis.com/
Patricia Mulligan
Foundation Leader, Paining and Drawing Tutor

She has a BA in Fine Art from Goldsmiths University, having earlier gained an MA in General Arts at Edinburgh University (specialising in art history & anthropology), and an Masters in Design & IT from Birmingham City University (specialising in digital design and animation). She has worked as a set designer and extensively as a digital designer, prior to concentrating on work as a visual artist and lecturer. All of these experiences inform her practice which is rooted in painting, printmaking, animation and writing.
