have been a Buddhist since 1992 and was ordained in 2002. I trained in a Western Buddhist tradition. I am now a non-affiliated Buddhist and a freelance meditation instructor.

Course programme

Five Week Buddhist Meditation Course
Buddhist Meditation is used to calm the body and mind, ultimately in order to investigate your inner process, gaining insight into the deep discontent we feel. This discontentment the Buddha said was due to our tendency to push away unpleasant experiences and grab onto pleasant experiences. This swinging between these two extremes of pushing away and grasping is what leads to our fundamental discontent because this can never actually achieve. Instead through meditation we can really see what is happening in ourselves, we can embrace this discontent and work with the causes, and through this meditation the discontent will eventually begin to diminish. Regular meditation practice can result in a feeling of contentment, happiness, and better relationships with others and increased self confidence
