Construction and the Built Environment - Trowel Trades
Building Craft Occupations Level 1 (Saturdays)

Study Method:
The study methods are predominently practical, with some classroom input, toolbox talks and projects.
Duration :College attendance is required on Saturdays for one half day per week 8.30am-12.30pm for 32 weeks.
Who the Course is For:
Applications are welcomed from anyone with an interest in acquiring the skills, knowledge and techniques of a range of construction trades
Assessment:
There is continuous practical assessment, unit knowledge assessment and an end on line exam. The practical assessment is conducted by the college staff and verified by the City & Guilds of London institute.
Course Leads To:
On completion of this level 1 award, students will be in a position to make informal choices about progression into a trade area.

wallpapering and tiling.
Building Services Basic plumbing and electrical installation
