C&G 6217-03 Basic Skills Painting & Decorating(2010/2011)
Study Method:
The course lasts for 36 weeks and involves three hours attendance at the college on one morning or evening per week. Each task is described and demonstrated by the lecturer. Students are advised to take notes during a demonstration. They then practice the task while receiving advice and help from the lecturer.
Duration :36 Weeks - one 3 hour session per week
Who the Course is For:
For those who wish to learn and improve their decorating skills. The course deals with painting, paper hanging, simple broken colour techniques, stencilling.
Assessment:
There is an on-going programme of 8 assessed practical units to achieve a C&G certificate upon completion of the 1 year course.
Course Leads To:
When the student has completed the course and practical tasks, they will be awarded a Certificate, providing attendance has been regular. The student may then progress on to either an NVQ course or a creative studies course.
Most of our courses have multiple groups, therefore, actual attendance days may not be as stated.
