Car Maintenance for Beginners

The course covers the general requirements to safely carry out routine maintenance and repair of motor vehicles including; tyre checks, cooling systems, air induction, brakes, lubrication and routine servicing. We will also be able to demonstrate the MOT Testing process and explain the checks to ensure a vehicle is safe for the road. There are no examinations or course work, however, some written work to be completed at student's own pace. A College Certificate is awarded on request.You will learn through practical work. Some written work to be completed at student's own pace.
