About this course
The course is aimed at those healthcare professionals who come into contact with children in their work, rather than those who have specialised in the care of children. It may therefore be of relevance to you if, for example, you work in an accident and emergency setting, walk in centre or GP surgery. It is not suitable for those trained as children’s nurses.
This course offers healthcare professionals an opportunity to further develop their knowledge and skills in caring for the specific needs of children and young people.
You must be a Health Practitioner registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) with at least 12 months post-registration employment.
