Course Description
This course is an ideal introduction to basic skin care, eyelash and eyebrow treatments and make-up. You will learn how to apply make-up to create daytime and evening looks, and also corrective techniques.You will also learn how to apply eyelash and eyebrow treatments, such as tinting, shaping and lash extensions. This is a practical-based course with theory to support each unit of study. You will be required to provide your own models for assessments.

Entry Requirements
4 GCSEs Grade D, incl. English. (Maths D for some courses). Or Pass in Level 1 Vocational Qual., Merit for BTECs, plus Key Skills Level 1 Comm. (App. of Number for some courses) or equivalent. Diplomas require Functional Skills in ICT, Maths and English.

Assessment: You will be assessed continually through the observation of practical skills, written tests, oral questions, projects and assignments, and the production of a portfolio of evidence.

Progression Routes: Other courses are Beauty Therapy, Holistic Therapy or Massage Therapy. Employment as a Sales Representative or Product Demonstrator.
