You will learn the practical skills to plan and teach a safe and effective group exercise class to music. This will include aerobics and body conditioning based classes.
A successful Aerobics Instructor needs to be multi talented, have excellent communication skills and be able to teach a wide range of exercise classes. Life as an aerobics instructor is rewarding, and allows you to have fun, be creative and work in an exciting environment that suits you!
For many people, exercise in a group situation is the best way to keep fit and healthy. Running the class is more fun than attending one. You can work as a freelance instructor or in a Health Club or Leisure Centre. Becoming an Aerobics instructor is usually a stepping stone to other careers in the health and fitness industry. You can add other modules such as Aqua, Step, Gym, Health Related Exercise for Children and Level 3 Exercise to Music and many other courses.
