Who should enrol

Manufacturers handbook, maintenance manual, HSE guidelines, Lantra Workbooks.

Duration
2 days for experienced users (3 years experience essential) 4 days for less experienced users.

Workshop first day, second, third & fourth days Field use.

Certificate
Lantra awards certificate of basic training.

Validity
Valid for up to 5 years.

Pre-requisites
All trainees must be over 17 years of age and in good health. Some First Aid training is advised.

Persons with certain ailments or on certain medication may not be able to take part in the practical sessions.

What should I bring to the course?
Chainsaw helmet, Chainsaw gloves, Steel toe-capped Chainsaw workboots, Chainsaw trousers (Type C). Also Chainsaw in good working order, tools & manual, Fuel / Oil, Felling Level, First Aid Kit, 2 passport photo`s.
