About this course
• Hold your own part in a small group with some confidence
• Play in tune and in time with others in a small group
• Understand how your own part fits into the musical ensemble
• Co-operate with others in a small group to identify problems and find solutions
• Respond positively to musical critique and suggestions from your tutor and peers
• Perform in a small group with some confidence.
Please bring your instrument, a pencil and eraser. The tutor will provide or recommend suitable music for the varous ensembles within the class, but you are also welcome to bring along music you are interested in playing.
