Course objectives

To give delegates an insight into the field of change management, why it often fails, and to give them a series of tools and techniques to manage change effectively.

• How individuals react and adapt to change
• How to define the scope of your change
• How to diagnose what you currently have in place, before embarking on a change management process
• Creating and communicating your vision
• How to anticipate and manage the resistance to change
• How to communicate effectively in times of change
• Identifying the skills and qualities of an effective change manager
• Self analysis, through a questionnaire, to identify your key strengths in times of managing change.
• Understanding of how to use various change management tools, e.g. domainal maps, readiness and capability charts, have/want models and force field analysis.
