Childcare and Education CACHE Level 3

Course Overview
This is nationally recognised as an NVQ Level 3 equivalent qualification for working with young children from 0 16 years of age in playgroups, nurseries, craches etc. Successful completion of this course will allow you to work with children and their families in a variety of settings and environments within the sector of Children's Services. The course develops theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

Course Structure
This is a two-year course involving two days per week in a variety of practical situations with young children. This experience is assessed and results, with college-based study, in a qualification to practice in childcare.

There is a short answer external examination at the end of your course.

Qualification Aims
A CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education, which is equivalent to an NVQ Level 3.

Assessments/Examinations
Continuous assessment through assignments, tests and performance on work experience placements. There is also an end of course external examination.

£35 Contribution towards course materials.

£42 CRB Check

Travel costs to work placements if less than three miles from home.

If you are 19 years of age or over, at the start of the course, the tuition fee's may be payable for£495 per year.
