Consolidation of advanced grammatical structures
Development of vocabulary
Development of competence in reading Chinese characters
Enhancement of fluency
A variety of topics which reflect the interests of the group (this will be discussed and negotiated in the first session).

The course is based on the communicative approach: active student participation emphasis on speaking and listening skills pair and group work role plays use of realia, pictures and authentic material use of audio-visual techniques when appropriate.
