The CIEH Level 3 Award in Training Principles and Practice (TPP) Course is aimed at candidates who wish to deliver training in their workplace or as part of their profession.
It is suitable for anyone who would like to deliver CIEH accredited training, or training such as those who work in retail, hospitality, health and beauty, and many other professions to adults.

TPP Course Objectives
By the end of the training, candidates will be able to:
Identify the key aspects of effective training to include all participants
Write learning aims and objectives in accordance with best practice
Design and deliver training to facilitate learning
Facilitate a group training session using a range of activities
Assess and evaluate immediate learning
Anyone wishing to become a trainer or progress to become a teacher. This course is suitable for candidates who have no or limited training experience.
Level 2 in literacy, good handwriting and IT skills
Level 3 Award in Training Principles and Practice Course (CIEH)
This is a CIEH accredited course.

How are candidated assessed:
The CIEH Level 3 Award in Training – Principles and practice assessment is divided into two parts:
1. a 1,000 word outline of the candidate’s subject specialism
2. a microteaching session (including peer assessment).
Micro-teach
The practical assessed 'micro-teach' session involves:
•Producing a plan for, and delivering, a 20-25 minute training session
•Completion of a self-evaluation to review the effectiveness of the session, and peer evaluations.
•The assessment includes discussion and feedback.
