CIEH Principles of Manual Handling Certificate

This is a part-day course of 3 hours duration

The course syllabus includes the following;

• The process of manual handling in the workplace
• Manual handling injuries and the activities which cause them
• Responsibilities imposed by the manual handling operations regulations

On completion the student should be able to ;

• Identify the hazards of manual handling
• Identify the risks involved and controls available
• Identify what is expected from a manual handling assessment
