Course Content:
The course includes the following. Compulsory Core Unit: Management. Elective Units: Warehousing; Road Freight Transport; Road Passenger Transport. Other units may be available on request. It is possible to study just the individual units that are relevant and of interest to you, upon successful completion you will gain the Certificate for that unit.

Other Information:
This is an ideal course for new or first-line managers within a logistics environment, or for those aspiring to such a role. The College arranges for you to become a student member of the CILT for the first year of your course. You will work at your own pace and have regular tutorial sessions. Assessment is through the production of written case studies or work-based projects (Competency Route). You will be encouraged to work in a close teamwork environment and extensive tutorial guidance and feedback will be available.

Progression:
The CILT(UK) Level 5 Professional Diploma in Logistics would be a good progression route, or other specialised higher management courses
