Course programme
CIM have recently launched a brand new suite of qualifications which we will be offering from September this year. We are busily putting together our promotional plan.
There are 3 units which will make up the Level 6 Award and Diploma in Professional Marketing qualification.
Core Units
1: Strategic Marketing - assessed by examination
2: Mastering Metrics - assessed by assignment
Electives (choose 1)
3: Driving Innovation - assessed by assignment
4: Digital Strategy - assessed by assignment
To achieve the complete Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing you must achieve the 2 core modules + 1 elective
You can study any of them as 'stand-alone' modules and on achievement are awarded a Level 6 Award in Professional Marketing
Ours is a blended learning model (a mix of face to face and online learning) so for each 10 week module the delivery is likely to be as follows, starting with 'Strategic Marketing'
For each module you will:
- Receive learning materials from us and CIM
- Attend college for 3, 2 hour evening sessions in each of the modules
- Have access to our VLE
- Receive online tutorial support
- Receive assessment support
CIM mark all the submitted work
You will need to commit to around 10 hrs a week of study time
As well as studying with us you also have to be registered with CIM. You pay a registration and then a fee for each of the modules which covers some learning materials and all your assessment fees. Full membership comes once you have achieved your qualification.
Entry Requirements
- At least 2 years professional practice in a Marketing Officer or Marketing Manager role where you also have some input into the organisation’s strategic marketing process
- An honours degree in a business or related subject where at least 60 credits are marketing related.
- GCSE English Language at grade C or above (or equivalent)
