Intermediate Certificate in Human Resource Management is a Level 5 programme. As such it sets out to develop effective analytical and problem solving skills. ICHRP will help you develop a deeper understanding of HR issues. Areas covered in the programme include: developing professional practice; business issues and the contexts of Human Resources; using information in Human Resources; resourcing and talent planning; improving organisational performance; employment law.

Course programme

The ICHRP is suitable for those who:- seek to further develop their HR or other specialist knowledge after studying a CIPD Foundation level qualilfication; seek to develop a career in HR management; are working in the field of HR management and need to extend their knowledge and skills; have responsibility for implementing HR policies and strategies; need to understand the role of HR in the wider organisational and environmental context; work in HR but have no professionally recognised HR qualifications.
At the end of the programme you will receive the Intermediate Certificate in Human Resource Management. You will have the underpinning knowledge towards Associate Membership of CIPD.
Assessment is via coursework; there are no formal examinations. Assessment may take the form of written assessments; short presentations on given topics; practical interviews or other practical assignments.
