Course review:
This electrical qualification allows learners to achieve the under-pinning knowledge required to become a competent fully qualified electrician and covers regulations, electrical installation knowledge and practical skills and includes Inspection & Testing and fault finding skills.
City & Guilds have extended the last date of candidate registration to the beginning of December 2012. As such this qualification can still be achieved and is still the Industries recognised qualification to become a fully qualified electrician. Due to this end date fast approaching it is important that you contact us and book a place on this course as soon as possible as spaces are limited. This qualification is suitable for a variety of people and you do not necessarily need any previous electrical qualification as electrical experience from your previous or present job role may be sufficient. You may also have City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 or 2360 Part 1.
This Level 3 electrotechnical qualification is essential for those wishing to qualify as a fully qualified electrician. The course provides an understanding of electrical principles including AC theory, single phase and three phase power systems all to the latest 17th Edition Wiring Regulations 2008 (2011). It also covers Inspection & Testing and fault finding techniques for domestic and commercial premises. The aim of this electrical course is to provide and help develop regulation knowledge, practical skills and science required for electrical installation work. This qualification is still a valid learning path for students wishing to progress their knowledge, however, candidates must register very soon to be guaranteed a place on this course due to a high demand for places.
This course will commence from November 2012 and the duration will be 32 weeks in total. There is an option of 1 day per week or 1 evening per week. This course can be completed in around 25 weeks if taken on the 1 day option; this will depend on your experience and capabilities.
