About this course

Candidates should have a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation i.e. C & G 2330 Level 3 or C & G 2360 Part 2. Certificates will need to be seen at enrolment. You need to be over 18 years old. You should also ideally be working in the electrical industry and have approved electrician status with a good understanding of the IEE Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)

Course Content:
You'll study the requirements for Electrical Installation BS7671 and the IEE Wiring Regulations - 17th Edition and the use of the 'On-Site-Guide'.

You'll need to buy your own copy of the IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2008) and the On-Site Guide before you start the course. You can get these from good bookshops such as Waterstones Booksellers Ltd or W.H. Smith and the total cost is about £70.00. Assessment is by means of an on-line test.

Progression:
Successful students may progress to City and Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing.
