City & Guilds Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership (7250-02)

To achieve the Diploma learners will be observed in their workplace or Realistic Work Environment (RWE) to assess their workplace performance. Learners will also present a portfolio of written evidence, answers to underpinning knowledge questions, and records of observations.

The Diploma in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership will help learners to develop the skills and abilities needed to become a supervisor or team leader. This Diploma may suit learners if they've worked in the hospitality industry for some time - perhaps they have plenty of experience, and they might already supervise others or manage resources. The Diploma develops customer service skills, resource allocation skills and objective setting.

The Diploma in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership will promote employability in a wide range of roles including: Catering/Restaurant Manager; Hotel Duty Manager; Kitchen Supervisor/Manager; Contract Catering Supervisor/Team Leader. Alternatively, learners can continue their studies in the hospitality sector, for example, a Foundation Degree in Hospitality, Tourism or Events Management.
