The City of London, the Square Mile, has 47 gardens, 43 churchyards and 110 other planted areas in 10.5 acres of open space. We will explore the history and planting of a selection of gardens including St Pauls churchyard, Christchurch Greyfriars, Postman's Park, and the herb gardens of the Barber Surgeons Company.
