On this course you will learn how to recognise important myths and legends and the main heroes, gods and monsters popular in classical art. Discover how symbols and attributes help us recognise famous myths and legends and identify their main characters. Explore and consider the multi-layered role and meaning of myths and legends in classical art and society and discuss their continuing popularity in western culture.
