About this course

Imperial College Business School has an excellent reputation for teaching sustainable business, and has partnered with the Grantham Institute to deliver this unique new MSc programme. Learn from leading practitioners and world class faculty how to put the latest academic thinking and business and climate change strategies into practice. During this programme you will benefit from both the expertise of the Business School and the Grantham Institute, as well as their links with industry and policy makers. A 12-month programme of study balances business skills with knowledge of climate science and policy. Each module uses case study methodology and class-based discussions to strengthen students’ conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills. Students will undertake both individual and group work, while regular seminars and guest lectures by external expert speakers embed this MSc in the business world.

All applicants must apply online. You can usually apply for up to two courses, although your second choice will only be considered if your first-choice application is unsuccessful. Course programme

The programme is made up of 13 core modules from a range of subject areas. These modules are taught over three academic terms.

Over the summer, you have the choice to undertake either a Group Consultancy project or a Work Placement and will also write a Capstone Individual Report.

Throughout the year, you will attend guest lectures, either specific to a given module, or cross cutting across the topics of the programme.
