Firstly it is about how to enjoy yourself on stage and secondly, how to share this with others and with the audience. We will share our successes and our flops and in so doing will discover the essential elements necessary for a clown performance. Students will develop and present their own material on Thursday eve Dec 15th with other classes as part of the new City Lit Drama Festival.

No. You will need to wear comfortable clothes in which you can move easily. No tight clothes.

Course programme
Play, work on rhythm, focus, timing, physical and spatial awareness, status.
Group, pair and individual work. It is not necessary to do any work outside of class. Body awareness and physical expression are central to the course. These are both released via playful physical games and exercises.
You may or may not be asked to participate in rigorous activity from time to time. Please consider whether you could do this.
