Course programme

An overview of coaching: background, definitions, principals, types, ethics
Basic coaching skills, such as contracting, listening, questioning and goal-setting.

It is an experiential course that includes input on theory and group discussion. There will be individual, partner, small and whole group work, most particularly the opportunity to coach each other. You will be required to carry out some experiential homework between the two days of the course.

You may wish to pursue gaining a coaching qualification and/or enrol on other personal development courses, such as: Improve your listening skills (PS704); Creating time to listen and think (PG685).
