this one-day course is aimed at people who require guidance and development in the techniques of coaching and mentoring. the course looks at the difference between coaching and mentoring and helps participants to create and manage learning opportunities. there is an overlap between coaching and mentoring and many of the skills required are common to both.

people who are new to coaching and mentoring.

• recognise who needs mentoring and who makes a good mentor
