Coaching Skills for Leaders

· Day One will focus on how to define a purpose for a coaching session, setting up the questions to be covered and the setting of coaching goals. The practice sessions will also focus on developing key skills for coaching covering active listening, open questions and goal setting. The manager coaches will also have been asked to undertake some preparatory work, based on worksheets we will provide so that they come to the sessions fully prepared.

· Day Two will teach two coaching models for performance and development issues that the managers can use with their staff.

In the Evaluation module (Day Three) we will jointly develop with you an understanding of change issues within your organisation and demonstrate how to embed coaching within an organisation and simple tools for evaluation in organisations.
