The ability to coach the performance of others is an essential skill for leaders and managers alike. When done skillfully, coaching multiplies the effectiveness of what people have already gained through education, training and work experience. Delegates will enjoy these training sessions from Stand&Deliver because they are kept engaged through guided practice sessions, examples from experiences, awareness raising exercises and short theory inputs.

This course will be of great benefit to anyone who already has responsibility for leading and developing the performance of others. As a result of their active participation delegates can expect to gain a strong framework in terms of knowledge and a firm foundation of demonstrated skill. They will also gain confidence as to when they should coach and how to coach most effectively coach the performance of others. They will gain deeper insight into the personal and interpersonal processes of both the coach and the person being coached. These skills, such as learning how to see the positive and how to motivate others, are highly transferable skills which can be applied to other important aspects of organisational life: relationships between individuals, between departments, with clients and with suppliers for example.
