This course develops an understanding of the fabric and social structure of Britain through a sociological, historical, legal and psychological context. No prior subject knowledge is required.
What will I be learning?
You will study two compulsory modules: Introduction to Research Methods and their Applications to Memory and Twentieth Century Britain.

How will I learn?
Teaching and learning methods include lectures, tutorials, practical workshops and presentations. The programme is based on student-centred learning through which you develop a full approach to and take responsibility for your own learning. Throughout the course, you receive tuition and guidance from module leaders and personal tutors will provide regular individual tutorials and advise on progress and learning strategies. You will be assessed through: group and individual presentations; essays; case studies; reports and examinations.

What can I do afterwards?
