The aim of this 1-day course, is to explore the principles of advanced communication skills within a healthcare setting. This course, which has been designed by doctors, and has CME/CPD Royal College approval will help you to:

• Understand the principles of advanced communication approaches
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and colleagues
• Understand how to structure questions so that you obtain the information you require
• How to listen to people effectively
• Identify the ways in which a particular person communicates
• Implement effectively into your day-to-day work what you have learnt during the course
