Most modules are delivered at the Burnley UCLan campus or through blended web based learning. The Burnley UCLan campus is a brand new development with excellent, ‘state of the art’, teaching facilities. Course material is presented in a series of lectures, discussions, guided group activities, case studies and individual study elements supported by paper based and online course materials. It is taught by staff who are internationally recognised within their field. Moreover, the Freire Institute is based within the centre for volunteering and Community Leadership at the Burnley Campus, and provides students with ample opportunities for extracurricular Freire based learning and activities, including on line training programmes.
