Who The Course is for
This course is for individuals who are either considering advancing their careers through a Team Leader / Management route or who are currently employed as a Team Leader or Manager and wish to improve their skills. It is not expected that this course therefore would be suitable for learners under the age of 21.
Course Content
The course is an introduction to Team Leadership and Management and examines what skills and knowledge is required to become / improve Team Leadership / Management performance. For learners who are interested at the end of the two days, there will be the opportunity to study for a further day and achieve either the Level 3 Award in First Line Management or the Level 4 Award in Management and Leadership.
Entry RequirementsLearning & Assessment Methods
A range of learning and assessment methods will be used over the two days which shall not only inform the tutor regarding your understanding of the subject matter, but also as to which level of qualification you would be most suited to should you wish to re-enrol onto the third day.
Qualifications Gained
College certificate confirming the day's content.
Progression Opportunities
Candidates who are suitable will be encouraged to progress and undertake one further day's tuition to achieve either the CMI Level 3 Award in First Line Management or the CMI Level 4 Award in Management and Leadership. This will be subject to an administration cost and an Awarding Body exam and registration fee of £97.00.
Career Opportunities
The CMI Management qualifications are suitable for individuals who are considering or are embarking upon a Team Leader / Management career and are recognised internationally.
Course Costs
£50.00 initially plus £97.00 if you complete the Award at either Level 3 or Level 4
