Community manager course

The community manager is a polyvalent professional who, following a specific theoretical and technical-practical training concerning the management and life of the communities, works as manager or technician of social, health and collective educational assistance services, through professional activities of a directive, welfare, educational and / or relational nature. This specialization has contributed, in Italy and in Italian Switzerland, to the professional preparation of managerial, educational and assistance personnel destined to work in services to the person and to the community. The professional profile of the community manager is established in Italy, pursuant to the Decree of the President of the Republic of March 25, 1963, number 1500, with the Decree of the Ministry of Education of January 14, 1967 which establishes the following: "A manager can work in various types of communities - nursery schools, homes for pregnant women, summer stays, permanent and specialized institutions, boarding schools, pensioners, retirement homes, school refectories, company canteens etc. - that is, in all those numerous educational, medical, social and welfare institutions which, especially in the pediatric field, rehabilitation, geriatrics, are increasingly increasing in a modern state that wants to solve the delicate problems of social assistance. By community we mean a group of people (children, teenagers, adolescents, young people, adults and the elderly), coming from various social and family conditions, which aims to benefit physical, mental, social and moral of its members. It works, through the participation of each one in the process of this experience, an enrichment of the person himself who, thus grown, learns to be aware of the fundamental values ​​of his life and of others and to direct his own activity to them.
