Entry RequirementsA sound knowledge of technical drawing is desirable, either in mechanical, architectural or other related industry.
Course Content
The course allows students to work through a series of practical exercises using AutoCAD 2000 to attain a level of competence that will prepare them for City & Guilds assessments. This will include the use of line, circle, arc, editing and plotting commands.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is by two practical exams and one multiple choice question paper set by City & Guilds.
Students may take the test at any time there is no set exam date.
What can I do next?
The progression from this course would be to City & Guilds Two Dimensional Computer Aided Design Level 3. Students who progress well at Level 2 may have the opportunity to start working towards Level 3 in this year.
