Confined Space (City & Guilds)

Description: Practical and theory skills course required by anybody who enters a confined space; to include the use of gas detectors and escape sets

Training Coverage:

The courses cover a range of the following:

• Safety legislation
• Confined space regulations
• Confined space hazards
• Confined space accidents
• Gas detectors, escape sets, safety harness
• Tripod and winch, safety lines, first aid
• Setting up
• Movement through confined spaces and escape procedures
• Safe systems at work
• Emergency first aid

Course participants are requested to bring overalls and safety footwear and other full personal protective equipment.
